It's funny how our lives have diverged just now :) I let the garden plot go this year - both bc it was expensive and I didn't like the people I met there and because I can't imagine how I'm going to maintain it when I'm due early-mid June. I could probably do it, but I'm giving myself an out here to reduce some stress. The tension with my plot mate last summer was stressful.

I need to put in a plot here. When I first saw the property, in February, I was all set to tear out here, here and here. Once we moved in, in late June, I came to understand that someone lovingly and thoughtfully landscaped already. And I LIKE my plants. And the yard has not been maintained in years so I have a TON of cutting back to do, everywhere. So this year is not the year of epic veggies for me (I still would love it if you could come over this summer and help me with some design advice!!). I'm going to instead focus on container gardening. I have "The Bountiful Container" in transit from the library and can't wait to get ideas. I also have no containers so I can't wait to get those either :p I'm excited!
