Honestly, the only reason I'm registered as a Democrat is so that I can vote in primaries/caucuses, because honestly, I'm far, far too liberal to actually be a Democrat. I only picked that bec. there was no liberal party to pick. You can only switch to the democratic party 2 months before the caucus. Nice of them to let anyone know about that. Even the woman at the city's office didn't know and she told me she was an independent, too but that we should show up and ask to vote anyway. Bummer!
