While blog-surfing this evening, I came across a nifty little tool for getting the “blog rating” (a la movie ratings) for your blog. I couldn’t resist typing in ChezArtz to see what they would rate it and, more importantly, how. Amusingly, ChezArtz was rated PG-13 for the following word usage:
- poop (7x)
- hell (2x)
- crap (1x)
A couple of things surprised and amused me. First, have I really never dropped an F-Bomb on ChezArtz? I’ll have to work on that 
Second, Gabriel knows more cuss words than I have used in a year of blogging and that is just a shame on many levels. And finally, why is it that our lives post-baby are always relegated to the PG-13 rating? Sometimes a little NC-17 might spice things up a bit. Sigh…

Ask and you shall receive. Apparently pasting the stats in above pushed ChezArtz over the edge from PG-13 to R!!!! Does that mean I’m going to get a little (quote from the Motion Picture Association of America): “adult themes, adult activity, hard language, intense or persistent violence, sexually-oriented nudity, drug abuse or other elements” in my life?

But I know I have a few hell’s in there, but maybe that isn’t even considered a cuss word anymore. I think I need to get out more.
I have lots of stuff about breast feeding and vaginal birth too, but maybe they don’t count that as “bad” (as they shouldn’t) if you are talking about it in the context that we do.
